An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 20th minute of play forced Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s goalkeeper Pavle Komazec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Denmark's Mikkel Wulff sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pavle Komazec narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 34 minutes into the game, 洪坚誉 threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Simon Bendtsen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 36 minutes into the match, Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s Yıldıray Pektay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keld Paulsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Yıldıray Pektay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s Srba Ćirković got a free kick in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes in the game Ratibor Paunović did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vlajko Bošnjak. Yıldıray Pektay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Pavle Komazec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 62nd minute of play forced Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s goalkeeper Pavle Komazec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denmark's Lars Steen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by 洪坚誉, made in the 67th minute of the game. The supporters of Denmark booed when Sirmium Legionaries F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ratibor Paunović didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes Sirmium Legionaries F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ratibor Paunović. Denmark's attentive Olav Graversen managed to snatch the ball when 洪坚誉 made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 84th minute of the game 洪坚誉 made a throw-in which Geronimo Aragones played forward. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Aragones, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Denmark's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Čeda Đurović was slow to take the kick. During this time Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s Čeda Đurović to fire away a dangerous shot which Keld Paulsen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Perica Gojak came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geronimo Aragones's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Despite being the better team, Denmark failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
