With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Moura in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacek Henryk saved Los Desperados Szczecin from getting behind. The supporters of Portugal booed when Los Desperados Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Bykowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Brysz in the 11th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portugal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Dariusz Brysz scored to the left of an out of position Wilson Amorim, making the score, 1-0. Sebastian Bondel's late challenge caught a Portugal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Bondel helped the player get up and apologised. Jacek Henryk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes in the game, Dimitris Kalofolias fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Kléberson Rodrigues hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viriato Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabricio Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wieslaw Bykowski took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Jacek Henryk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Portugal's Felipe Barreto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. 66 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Los Desperados Szczecin's Jacek Henryk. Jacek Henryk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dariusz Brysz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 76 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Brysz came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Dariusz Brysz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 79th minute of play forced Los Desperados Szczecin's goalkeeper Jacek Henryk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Brysz in the 80th minute of the match. Dimitris Kalofolias scored 4-3 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dariusz Brysz in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacek Henryk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Graciano Coutinho in the 93rd minute. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Brysz in the 94th minute of play. The Portugal players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Los Desperados Szczecin from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
