Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Hoffmann in the 5th minute. 6 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Riograndense FC's Juan Hoffmann fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anderson Trigo saved Riograndense FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 20th minute of play forced Riograndense FC's goalkeeper Anderson Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Riograndense FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Siqueira. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Juan Hoffmann took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Keld Paulsen to make any attempt to save it. After 30 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Chris Nygaard. In the 38thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riograndense FC's Anderson Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Hoffmann in the 41st minute. Juan Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Hoffmann. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Anderson Trigo managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Denmark's Chris Nygaard fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Chris Nygaard struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Anderson Trigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Anderson Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chris Nygaard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anderson Trigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Zé Paulo da Fonseca got a throw-in 72 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jonas Ferraz. Alexandre Siqueira was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 74 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, one of Riograndense FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Riograndense FC. Anderson Trigo came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Denmark's Chris Nygaard. But to his dismay, Chris Nygaard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Keld Paulsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Hoffmann went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Riograndense FC's Anderson Trigo got control of the ball when Bertram Svenningsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertram Svenningsen got free with Anderson Trigo in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mikkel Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Hoffmann's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Zé Paulo da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Denmark's Chris Nygaard broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gilberto Barreto made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Juan Hoffmann immediately put the ball in play. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
