After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Kees Mooiweer got a free kick in the 6th minute. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Maximiliano Teofilio took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Arnout Reekers to make any attempt to save it. After 10 played minutes Bonpland United got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Vincente. Orlando Fanuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 16th minute of the match. Orlando Fanuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Egbert Nijveldt with Lars Meesters as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Orlando Fanuco didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Maximiliano Teofilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Fanuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Fanuco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 40th minute of play. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Teofilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albano Sergi during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Albano Sergi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltasar Perutxo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximiliano Teofilio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Bonpland United's Orlando Fanuco. Orlando Fanuco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 57 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Teofilio came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Fanuco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Fanuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Sengrat charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcial Sengrat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Orlando Fanuco in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Bonpland United's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Fanuco came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Bonpland United's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Orlando Fanuco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Orlando Fanuco in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bonpland United's attentive Urbano Vincente managed to snatch the ball when Kees Mooiweer made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. The Bonpland United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
