An unexpectedly hard shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 14th minute of play forced Chelsicha's goalkeeper Caetano da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Porziano Marchitelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Caetano da Silveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jean Carl Mintoff kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Caetano da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 45th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Elija got free with Flavio Vittori in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Italy were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciro Elija stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Chelsicha's Caetano da Silveira got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Elija came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Elija in the 59th minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Porziano Marchitelli to maneuver through the defense. Chelsicha's Túlio Maciel was substituted for Victor Velloso. Thanks to some nice moves Porziano Marchitelli could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Caetano da Silveira however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Chelsicha's zone, Zaccheo Andolina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caetano da Silveira came out of the goal and Zaccheo Andolina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Italy's Zaccheo Andolina in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chelsicha's goalie prevented a goal. Caetano da Silveira made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. In the 85th minute Italy were awarded a corner. Siricio Liotta went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Deodato Magliozzi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Caetano da Silveira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Porziano Marchitelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Caetano da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Chelsicha's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Curto came free, but Caetano da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Italy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chelsicha throughout the match.
