Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Eanes. In the 5th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adérito Pinheiro in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute GD Almargense were awarded a corner. Alexandre Eanes went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Eiró in the 10th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Eiró could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. GD Almargense's Celso Eiró was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 15th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 19th minute Benedito Rebelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudemiro Tristão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in GD Almargense's zone, Faustino Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudemiro Tristão came out of the goal and Faustino Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudemiro Tristão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Almeida in the 23rd minute of the match. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after GD Almargense's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Barreto took the corner. In the 26th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudemiro Tristão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of GD Almargense's Claudemiro Tristão. Claudemiro Tristão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Miranda to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Rebelo came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudemiro Tristão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the match, GD Almargense's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Claudemiro Tristão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudemiro Tristão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 38th minute of the match. Claudemiro Tristão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Barreto went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Graciano Coutinho got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Portugal booed when GD Almargense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedito Rebelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Portugal were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celso Eiró stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Celso Eiró sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Eiró, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Eiró in the 56th minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adérito Pinheiro in the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Adérito Pinheiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adérito Pinheiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Valadares in the 67th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Caetano kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Raul Caetano got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 70 played minutes, GD Almargense's Celso Eiró shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wilson Amorim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GD Almargense reached it. Claudemiro Tristão made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Graciano Coutinho sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, GD Almargense's Romão Ferro got a free kick in the 78th minute. Joško Gvardiol kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Claudemiro Tristão didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-3 in the ordered_time% minute. After 91 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Pimentel. 93 minutes into the game, Alexandre Valadares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute, Zarco Patrício left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GD Almargense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. When the referee ended the match the GD Almargense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
