Olympic CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Micah Macdonald ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Quinn Holmes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Olympic CF's Dacian Cristoiu did a great save. Micah Macdonald struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Dacian Cristoiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for England. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Dijmărescu in the 21st minute of play. England's Micah Macdonald got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Olympic CF booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddie Willis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Issac Dawson came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the England fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Issac Dawson couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Esposito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Khalid Kennedy having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horaţiu Dijmărescu got free with Khalid Kennedy in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Horaţiu Dijmărescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Khalid Kennedy. The goal made the score 1-0. Caelan Hayes might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dacian Cristoiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Micah Macdonald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Dacian Cristoiu made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Micah Macdonald managed to get in a good position for a shot. England's supporters rose to their feet, but Micah Macdonald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dacian Cristoiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Micah Macdonald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Dacian Cristoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Cox, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, Olympic CF's Toni Ylönen got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kyle Cox got free with Dacian Cristoiu in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, Olympic CF's Horaţiu Dijmărescu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ernesto Esposito took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khalid Kennedy. Khalid Kennedy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Issac Dawson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dacian Cristoiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kyle Cox went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The referee felt a red card was in order, 83 minutes into the game, when Xavier Gallagher put in a rough tackle. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for England! 87 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Vallois came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kyle Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, England's Micah Macdonald got a free kick in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Dijmărescu came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Horaţiu Dijmărescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Olympic CF were victorious despite being under pressure from England for much of the match.
