Leonard Popowicz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonard Popowicz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. The supporters of RW AHLEN-KNURÓW booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Krzysztof Wierzcholek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krzysztof Wierzcholek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th match minute, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krzysztof Wierzcholek to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Popowicz got free with Tommy Kahn in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Leonard Popowicz came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the RW AHLEN-KNURÓW fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Popowicz couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonard Popowicz.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonard Popowicz made a kick off. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 55 played minutes RW AHLEN-KNURÓW got a freekick which was hit by Dominik Tarasek. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Grzegorz Kicia having to make a save. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Popowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Popowicz came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute RW AHLEN-KNURÓW were awarded a corner. Krzysztof Wierzcholek went to the cornerflag to take it. Radowit Budrewicz made in the 81st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Leonard Popowicz. Radowit Budrewicz made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Germany's Albin Holweck. In the 90th minute, Leonard Popowicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RW AHLEN-KNURÓW fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's attentive Dominik Tarasek managed to snatch the ball when Ulrich Stein made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. 95 minutes into the game, Radowit Budrewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. After a rather tough play, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Radowit Budrewicz got a free kick in the 95th minute.
