Bengt Sellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uno Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uno Berg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uno Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 16th minute of play. Uno Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 20th minute of play. Uno Berg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 23rd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Åbyggeby FK's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Uno Berg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 24th minute of play forced Åbyggeby FK's goalkeeper Uno Berg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Åbyggeby FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Antal Valentin made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that Åbyggeby FK's Uno Berg managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Åbyggeby FK booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bakos Endre didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Åbyggeby FK getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Oliver Dalgren hit a great ball. Uno Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 28th minute of play. Åbyggeby FK's Uno Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 34th minute of play. Uno Berg came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Antal Valentin. But to his dismay, Antal Valentin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Takacs Tibor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Uno Berg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Uno Berg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Åbyggeby FK defense, Major Barna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uno Berg. The Åbyggeby FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uno Berg should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. Bengt Sellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Antal Valentin got a free kick in the 64th minute. Hegedus Henrik hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 67 minutes of play, Åbyggeby FK's Börge Sefastsson made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute, Börge Sefastsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Åbyggeby FK's Uno Berg got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Antal Valentin took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Uno Berg to make any attempt to save it. In the 76th match minute, Åbyggeby FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börge Sefastsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Åbyggeby FK's goalkeeper Uno Berg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Åbyggeby FK made a substitution. Allan Ljungberg replaced Oliver Dalgren. Åbyggeby FK's Gustaf Rudberg was substituted for Börge Sefastsson. In the 81st minute of the match Åbyggeby FK got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Allan Ljungberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 83rd minute, Torbjörn Hökqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Åbyggeby FK's Karl-Oskar Pihlgren was substituted for Torbjörn Hökqvist. Major Barna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uno Berg having to make a save. In the 90th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. After 91 played minutes Åbyggeby FK got a freekick which was hit by Vidar Lindberg. Uno Berg was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Balazs Lajos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Balazs Lajos really showed his touch with that goal: 2-6. Uno Berg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 96th minute. Vidar Lindberg hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Åbyggeby FK.
