Lars Meesters was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Generoso Nazario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Defensores de Fasano's Deng Liang Yao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 26th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Deng Liang Yao threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Nazario, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Nazario in the 55th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Wim Wilmes took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Deng Liang Yao to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Luiz Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Luiz Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Defensores de Fasano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Lars Meesters made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that Defensores de Fasano's Deng Liang Yao managed to reach the ball for a save. After 86 played minutes Defensores de Fasano got a freekick which was hit by Candido Gabon. If David Eikelkamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Deng Liang Yao threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Defensores de Fasano.
