After 26 minutes of play, Beckenham Town's Toader Codin made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casper Claes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Belgium's Yves Dervaux got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingos Calvet in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Hacı Eryilmaz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Casper Claes, 3-0. Carl Norman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 43rd minute of play. Beckenham Town's Carl Norman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 45th minute of play. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Lenny Clocheret hit a great ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Vanderstraeten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hacı Eryilmaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 3-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carl Norman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carl Norman made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute of the match, Edward Vanderstraeten got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carl Norman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Domingos Calvet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hacı Eryilmaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The audience was convinced that Ömer Yıldırım's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Claes was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 80th minute Nigel Devos suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field.
