The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Sciotto helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ignacio Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. GARGOYLES's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacio Alvarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Graciano Coutinho spun around in front of the goal 8 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of GARGOYLES's goal. The audience was convinced that Graciano Coutinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nayden Vúlev was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. GARGOYLES's Nayden Vúlev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 9th minute of play. Ignacio Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. A collision led to GARGOYLES getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. 李永乐 Appleton hit a great ball. Wilson Amorim stood somewhat misplaced when Ignacio Alvarez came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 16 minute. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slavyan Mechkuev in the 20th minute of the match. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nayden Vúlev having to make a save. 30 minutes into the match, GARGOYLES's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Nayden Vúlev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GARGOYLES's Nayden Vúlev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 32nd minute of play. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nayden Vúlev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. Afonsinho Fernandes made in the 34th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Valko Nanyov. After 35 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Bastos. Slavyan Mechkuev shot from long distance in the 36th minute, but Wilson Amorim was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Afonsinho Fernandes got a throw-in 39 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Valko Nanyov. Valko Nanyov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. After some careless play in the GARGOYLES defense, Felipe Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nayden Vúlev. The GARGOYLES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nayden Vúlev should have stopped the shot. Valko Nanyov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viriato Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 53rd minute of play forced GARGOYLES's goalkeeper Nayden Vúlev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Slavyan Mechkuev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 61st minute of the game was made by Afonsinho Fernandes with Antonio Sciotto as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 70 played minutes GARGOYLES got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Alvarez. The supporters of Portugal booed when GARGOYLES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Alvarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nayden Vúlev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolomeu Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Slavyan Mechkuev came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, GARGOYLES's goalkeeper Nayden Vúlev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipinho Amorim. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by GARGOYLES's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Pimentel was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. 82 minutes into the game, GARGOYLES's Valko Nanyov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 86 minutes of play, GARGOYLES's Ignacio Alvarez made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felipinho Amorims short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Nayden Vúlev to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Alvarez in the 91st minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slavyan Mechkuev scored 4-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Afonsinho Fernandes hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that GARGOYLES were the better team. GARGOYLES's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
