Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Perivaldo Eger started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Henk Cardinaal could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Fodor Daniel however easily saved by the left post. The corner led De Pelgrims's Huub Gerrits to a score. 1-0 in the 5th minute. The supporters of De Pelgrims booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takacs Tibor didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to De Pelgrims getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Perivaldo Eger hit a great ball. Mike Zoetmulder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Perivaldo Eger got free with Fodor Daniel in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balazs Lajos in the 25th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Mike Zoetmulder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perivaldo Eger in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 30th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Mike Zoetmulder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute of the match, Huub Gerrits got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fodor Daniel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the De Pelgrims defense, Antal Valentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mike Zoetmulder. The De Pelgrims fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mike Zoetmulder should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute, Perivaldo Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Huub Gerrits. 43 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Perivaldo Eger came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. De Pelgrims's Mike Zoetmulder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 45th minute of play.

With a little luck, De Pelgrims's Mike Zoetmulder got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 57 in the game by Major Barna from a close distance when the talented Mike Zoetmulder managed to make a qualified save. De Pelgrims's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Perivaldo Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Pelgrims's supporters rose to their feet, but Perivaldo Eger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike Zoetmulder having to interfere. A collision led to De Pelgrims getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Perivaldo Eger hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Mike Zoetmulder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. In the 83rd minute of the match Hungary got a corner. De Pelgrims's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Katona Janos was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. De Pelgrims's Perivaldo Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Huub Gerrits fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. When Antal Valentin fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Antal Valentin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Antal Valentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Bakos Endre hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Perivaldo Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Pelgrims's supporters rose to their feet, but Perivaldo Eger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despite being the better team, Hungary failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
