The audience was convinced that Gijsbert ter Kruimer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albano Hever was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. When ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s Carlos Tevez in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Tevez to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, ⛥Milrayitas⛤ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaaf Hylen to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 57th minute of play forced ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s goalkeeper Albano Hever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s Albano Hever got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albano Hever dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Nicanor Luzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 80 minutes of play, ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s Nicanor Luzea made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! 84 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albano Hever, 2-4. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Albano Hever however easily saved by the left post. 95 minutes into the game, ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s Nicanor Luzea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ⛥Milrayitas⛤ throughout the match.
