Domingo Cresconio's late challenge caught a Belgium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingo Cresconio helped the player get up and apologised. Domingo Cresconio hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. When Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Kim-André van der Schans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Remzi Oruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Aldo Tono tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Aldo Tono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 33 minutes, Domingo Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Cresconio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Vito came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Belgium's Siebe Michiels sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kim-André van der Schans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgium's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Sander Dermaut advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 40th minute. After 44 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kim-André van der Schans was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, Aldo Tono kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Claes. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. Simon Sabbe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Tono in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Domingo Cresconio made in the 68th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eusebio Vito immediately put the ball in play. Casper Claes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Tono's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Kim-André van der Schans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 84 minutes, Aldo Tono made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Belgium's Casper Claes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's Kim-André van der Schans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten to fire away a dangerous shot which Kim-André van der Schans despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Kim-André van der Schans in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's zone, Edward Vanderstraeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kim-André van der Schans came out of the goal and Edward Vanderstraeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Belgium had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
