Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Evandro Albuquerque reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 1-0. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 谢克军. Adriano Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pedro Luís de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boro Paunović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Littles were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Boro Paunović took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when 谢克军 got free with Tommy Kahn in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 庄寒建 hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, 谢克军 took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by 谢克军 in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 谢克军 to strike the kick off in the second half. Sven Krakouer kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Germany's attentive Janik Vogt managed to snatch the ball when Miguel Zanette made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evandro Albuquerque during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Littles getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Evandro Albuquerque hit a great ball. When Diego Albuquerque fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Littles's protests and gave Diego Albuquerque a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Germany booed when Littles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Adriano Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Littles's 谢克军 got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Littles made a substitution. Christian Tasso replaced Miguel Zanette. Littles's Samuel Madureira was substituted for Evandro Albuquerque. Adriano Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 谢克军 in the 74th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albin Holweck's late challenge caught a Littles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albin Holweck helped the player get up and apologised. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 81st match minute, Littles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Tasso to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, 谢克军 notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 89 minutes into the game, Germany's Frank Sachs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adriano Cruz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Christian Tasso struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Littles.
