Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dragoş Afloarei started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Czech Republic booed when Filfla United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüseyin Rahmi Avcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Dostal in the 6th minute of play forced Filfla United's goalkeeper Etienne Blanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Etienne Blanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Jilek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erik Jilek made a great header on Czech Republic's corner, it was just that Filfla United's Etienne Blanco managed to reach the ball for a save. 15 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Hüseyin Rahmi Avcu came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Denis Dostal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Etienne Blanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Rezek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alan Rezek kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, John Said ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vavrinec Holub was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 34th minute Dragoş Afloarei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, John Said cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Vavrinec Holub was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Jilek to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Filfla United's goalkeeper Etienne Blanco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alan Rezek. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Said in the 56th minute of play. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, Dragoş Afloarei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. John Said recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dragoş Afloarei kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Alan Rezek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Etienne Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Filfla United's Hüseyin Rahmi Avcu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vavrinec Holub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Afloarei in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Ivar Ekegren made a precise shot to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Vavrinec Holub didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hüseyin Rahmi Avcu went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Vavrinec Holub didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from John Said went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Filfla United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
