Khachatryan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Merlin Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Sung McKinley came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petros Oganesyan kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, Khachatryan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hu Wei Shu to maneuver through the defense. Italy's Siricio Liotta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Albert Paulíny in the 76 minute of the game.
