Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Senen Quiroga took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kilcotton's Bran Hutton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Senen Quiroga in the 3rd minute of play. After 6 minutes of play, Atlètic de Barcelona's Fernando Santander made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bran Hutton was left in no man's land by his defense there! 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlètic de Barcelona's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bannon McMichel was slow to take the kick. During this time Kilcotton's players had a chance to rest. Fernando Santander kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Bladi Gala came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Kilcotton's Bannon McMichel. But to his dismay, Bannon McMichel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Augusto Morera's late challenge caught a Kilcotton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Morera helped the player get up and apologised. Bladi Gala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barney Lavine in the 17th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Atlètic de Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Morera. In the 25th minute Marco Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bran Hutton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Kilcotton's goal looked a bit too open when Cordeiro Vilanova came free, but Bran Hutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kilcotton's Barney Lavine was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 32nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 35th minute, Barney Lavine made a precise shot to the right of Bladi Gala. Atlètic de Barcelona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 45 minutes into the game, Atlètic de Barcelona's Cordeiro Vilanova nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bran Hutton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barney Lavine made a kick off. The supporters of Kilcotton booed when Atlètic de Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Morera didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 55 played minutes Kilcotton got a freekick which was hit by Justin Martyn. After a rather tough play, Kilcotton's Justin Martyn got a free kick in the 58th minute. Barney Lavine took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bladi Gala. Bladi Gala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. After a defensive mix-up in Atlètic de Barcelona's zone, Barney Lavine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bladi Gala came out of the goal and Barney Lavine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bannon McMichel kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Fernando Santander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Kilcotton's Bran Hutton got control of the ball when Fernando Santander tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th match minute, Kilcotton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bannon McMichel to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Santander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Bran Hutton made a huge save. Bran Hutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Senen Quiroga in the 77th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes Atlètic de Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Morera. Barney Lavine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Bladi Gala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Barney Lavine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilcotton's supporters rose to their feet, but Barney Lavine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bladi Gala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bladi Gala came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Kilcotton's Barney Lavine. But to his dismay, Barney Lavine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. In the 86th minute, Barney Lavine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barney Lavine struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Bladi Gala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilcotton. In the 92nd match minute, Kilcotton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barney Lavine to maneuver through the defense. Bran Hutton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Santander in the 94th minute. Art Palmer hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Kilcotton's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
