The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Germany's Ulrich Stein got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Eduard Iacobescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Tommy Kahn however easily saved by the left post. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Iacobescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xu Yang Jian in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Xu Yang Jian lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Tommy Kahn. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. Xu Yang Jian did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Tommy Kahn 16 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Sven Krakouer. In the 22nd minute of the match Alvinegro de Tupã got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hílton Pernambucano ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Chiquinho Maia heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xu Yang Jian in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 26th minute of play forced Alvinegro de Tupã's goalkeeper Karl Martin Bell Burnell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvinegro de Tupã's Karl Martin Bell Burnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 33rd minute of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xu Yang Jian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Åke Hellström advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-0 in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xu Yang Jian in the 41st minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Xu Yang Jian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvinegro de Tupã's supporters rose to their feet, but Xu Yang Jian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eduard Iacobescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Alvinegro de Tupã's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl Martin Bell Burnell came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hílton Pernambucano who took care of the corner kick. Hílton Pernambucano made a great header on Alvinegro de Tupã's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. Alvinegro de Tupã's Karl Martin Bell Burnell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Alvinegro de Tupã from getting a goal against them. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Iacobescu in the 63rd minute of play. Alonzo Ilixo made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eduard Iacobescu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xu Yang Jian in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Alvinegro de Tupã were the better team. Alvinegro de Tupã's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
