Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when İbrahim Volkan got the match started through his kick off. Aguinaga Nebot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esmeraldas S.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Niki Borda in the 8th minute. The corner ended in Niki Borda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Italy's Flavio Vittori did a great save. In the 10thth minute of the game Zaccheo Andolina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esmeraldas S.C.'s Aguinaga Nebot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalie and right to Siricio Liotta. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Esmeraldas S.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 13 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İbrahim Volkan. Aguinaga Nebot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siricio Liotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Aguinaga Nebot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Siricio Liotta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Siricio Liotta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aguinaga Nebot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siricio Liotta in the 26th minute of play forced Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalkeeper Aguinaga Nebot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aguinaga Nebot came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Zaccheo Andolina. But to his dismay, Zaccheo Andolina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 36th minute Damian Maftei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aguinaga Nebot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 42nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Zaccheo Andolina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aguinaga Nebot was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. İbrahim Volkan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Flavio Vittori when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Siricio Liotta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Aguinaga Nebot made a huge save. Esmeraldas S.C.'s Aguinaga Nebot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 59th minute of play. Porziano Marchitelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Maftei came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aguinaga Nebot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. If Siricio Liotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalkeeper Aguinaga Nebot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sigfrido Auletta took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aguinaga Nebot. Aguinaga Nebot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Aguinaga Nebot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 78th minute of play. Aguinaga Nebot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. 90 minutes in the game Pinto Cubria did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Martinez Cines. Italy's attentive Siricio Liotta managed to snatch the ball when Pinto Cubria made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. Aguinaga Nebot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Curto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Italy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Esmeraldas S.C. throughout the match.
