Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 4th minute. Miroslav Šípka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslav Šípka in the 8th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Holweck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. František Huba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Miroslav Šípka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Miroslav Šípka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Miroslav Šípka sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Pepito Santandres came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Arch Enemies's Pepito Santandres in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Germany booed when Arch Enemies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslav Šípka didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Albin Holweck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Miroslav Šípka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miroslav Šípka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without František Huba having to make a save. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pepito Santandres, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miroslav Šípka in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Modesto Barto in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Pepito Santandres was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Marek Bachleda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but František Huba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Pepito Santandres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
