Mathias Ludvigsen kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armindo Belém's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Konrāds Rabkins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Boleslaw Golob came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Vinará FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boleslaw Golob couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Mattin Boiro came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Konrāds Rabkins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bertram Svenningsen went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Konrāds Rabkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikkel Wulff in the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to Vinará FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Boleslaw Golob hit a great ball. Chris Nygaard took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Konrāds Rabkins. Vinará FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Belém, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Armindo Belém hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Konrāds Rabkins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikkel Wulff, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrāds Rabkins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41stth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vinará FC's Konrāds Rabkins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mattin Boiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keld Paulsen having to make a save. After the first half Denmark were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armindo Belém to strike the kick off in the second half. If Boleslaw Golob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Vinará FC's Mattin Boiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keld Paulsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Chris Nygaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Denmark's Chris Nygaard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konrāds Rabkins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vinará FC's Konrāds Rabkins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 played minutes Vinará FC got a freekick which was hit by Boleslaw Golob. Bjarne Kirkegaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Denmark booed when Vinará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute Armindo Belém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Nygaard got free with Konrāds Rabkins in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
