After 10 minutes, Filiberto Franco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vinará FC and the England players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Filiberto Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinará FC's Konrāds Rabkins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Issac Dawson in the 11th minute of play. Konrāds Rabkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micah Macdonald in the 13th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Micah Macdonald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Konrāds Rabkins. Vinará FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Micah Macdonald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Belém, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Issac Dawson might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Konrāds Rabkins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Issac Dawson ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of England booed when Vinará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattin Boiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kyle Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Issac Dawson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caelan Hayes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Konrāds Rabkins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Micah Macdonald went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 35thth minute of the game Kyle Cox who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vinará FC's Konrāds Rabkins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Kyle Cox's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konrāds Rabkins was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Xavier Gallagher hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Efrain Kismi fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 43rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Filiberto Franco got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 57th minute, Filiberto Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, England's Micah Macdonald broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jonatan Constancio charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonatan Constancio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Vinará FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Constancio. Issac Dawson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Kyle Cox struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Konrāds Rabkins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for England. Boleslaw Golob sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
