Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Lukšík in the 3rd minute of play. The Raptors Frýdek-Místek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Murillo de Senna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Zítko in the 54th minute of play. Pavel Lukšík recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Frank Sachs a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Sachs to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. When Pavel Lukšík came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Raptors Frýdek-Místek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavel Lukšík couldn't finish the play. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Václav Bernat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Janik Vogt fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Janik Vogt a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 97th minute.
