After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Kvetoslav Janku got a free kick in the 5th minute. Vavrinec Holub made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Silvestr Kurshakov sent off a good shot on target. 8 minutes into the match, Silvestr Kurshakov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vavrinec Holub, 1-0. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestr Kurshakov, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Tushino's Vyacheslav Birman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vavrinec Holub. That made the score 2-0 after 13 minutes of play. If Denis Dostal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Tushino's Vyacheslav Birman. But to his dismay, Vyacheslav Birman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Vyacheslav Birman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Konstantin Shafranov kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Alan Rezek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksandr Shutov having to interfere. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vyacheslav Birman, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Tushino's goalkeeper Aleksandr Shutov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, FC Tushino's Vavrinec Holub threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vyacheslav Birman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 40 minutes, Denis Dostal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Czech Republic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Dostal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vyacheslav Birman in the 44th minute of the match. FC Tushino's Aleksandr Shutov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Rezek in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Jilek made a kick off. Aleksandr Shutov made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Alan Rezek sent off a good shot on target. 53 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestr Kurshakov came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aleksandr Shutov was a little too slow when Erik Jilek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 3-1. In the 69th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalimil Charvat to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute Denis Dostal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksandr Shutov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Dostal spun around in front of the goal 79 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FC Tushino's goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladislav Afanasev in the 81st minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
