An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 25th minute of play forced Conakry FC's goalkeeper Silvio Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvio Ortle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Peletier in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henry Robiquet during the 36th minute. Robert Chapuis's late challenge caught a Conakry FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Peletier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Conakry FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick. Cyrus Bradley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Conakry FC got a freekick which was hit by Franco Crispino. Frank Peletier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Ortle having to interfere. Cyrus Bradley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. France walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
