Mihai Măliță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihai Măliță. In the 56thth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Andrei Pavel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany.
