When Robert Chapuis fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored France's protests and gave Robert Chapuis a yellow card for diving instead. Robert Chapuis kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Maxime Durand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sofiane Fleurant in the 19th minute. Sofiane Fleurant could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Maxime Durand made a huge save. Steven Grenard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Baume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Sofiane Fleurant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lambres's Hugo Rochon got a free kick in the 29th minute. Robert Chapuis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Grenard having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Auguste Macaigne notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of France's Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Sofiane Fleurant's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sofiane Fleurant made a kick off. Auguste Macaigne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remy Dupuy hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sofiane Fleurant in the 53rd minute of the match. France's Camille Baume got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Julien Guy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sofiane Fleurant in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Lambres getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Davy Chatry hit a great ball. In the 67th minute of the match David Barbier sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Steven Grenard skillfully saved the ball. In the 68th minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven Grenard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cyril Toulalan kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Sofiane Fleurant came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lambres's Jocelyn Bonneville got a free kick in the 77th minute. David Barbier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Hugo Rochon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remy Dupuy hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The supporters of France booed when Lambres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Rochon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven Grenard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
