Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sandro Galishoff got the match started through his kick off. In the 14th minute Jonas Nalder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Luncașu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucrețiu Agulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Marvin Harrer. Austria's Fabio Auer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Austria from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Venezia FC's Eric Apostol got a free kick in the 35th minute. Marvin Harrer struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Dinu Luncașu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Austria. After 37 minutes, Eric Apostol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezia FC and the Austria players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezia FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! Sandro Galishoff shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Valer Bornescu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mihăiţă Mailat made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Austria's Rafael Riedl got a free kick in the 56th minute. Lucrețiu Agulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Austria's zone, Lucrețiu Agulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Auer came out of the goal and Lucrețiu Agulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 66 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Marc Kronecker. After a defensive mix-up in Venezia FC's zone, Fabio Schneider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinu Luncașu came out of the goal and Fabio Schneider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Gănescu struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Fabio Auer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezia FC. In the 74th minute Fabio Schneider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Luncașu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Mihăiţă Mailat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezia FC's Mihăiţă Mailat got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dinu Luncașu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Schneider, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
