The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabri Bony breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute, Major Barna made a precise shot to the right of Sabri Bony. Étoile du Sud's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 15th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabri Bony saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabri Bony came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Antal Valentin. But to his dismay, Antal Valentin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 20th minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Sabri Bony tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 27th minute of play forced Étoile du Sud's goalkeeper Sabri Bony to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noël Chamayou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Redouane Ledig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Étoile du Sud's Barthélémy Jardin was substituted for Ramzy Fily. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. Sabri Bony made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. Sabri Bony took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sabri Bony showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 70th minute of the match. Antal Valentin scored 1-3 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sabri Bony, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sabri Bony showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Étoile du Sud getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Zenon Pacholewski hit a great ball. Sabri Bony made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 87th minute. Antal Valentin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Sabri Bony when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Daryl Cottineau charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daryl Cottineau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Étoile du Sud's Daryl Cottineau got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Zenon Pacholewski fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Étoile du Sud's protests and gave Zenon Pacholewski a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Étoile du Sud getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Zenon Pacholewski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Redouane Ledig in the 94th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 minutes of play, Étoile du Sud's Redouane Ledig made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 98th minute, Major Barna fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sabri Bony, passed just outside the right post. The Étoile du Sud fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
