Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sandro Galishoff made the kick off which started today's match. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Agulescu in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Venezia FC's zone, Fabio Schneider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinu Luncașu came out of the goal and Fabio Schneider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Agulescu in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Mihăiţă Mailat made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Venezia FC's Ivan Gănescu got a free kick in the 21st minute. Venezia FC's Dinu Luncașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Schneider in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Venezia FC booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marvin Harrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandro Galishoff charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandro Galishoff the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucrețiu Agulescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabio Auer. That made the score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. A collision led to Venezia FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Valer Bornescu hit a great ball. Marvin Harrer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dinu Luncașu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Schneider in the 39th minute of the match. After 40 minutes Venezia FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sandro Galishoff who took care of the corner kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mihăiţă Mailat made a kick off. Dinu Luncașu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandro Galishoff in the 50th minute. In the 52nd minute, Mihăiţă Mailat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After having played for 58 minutes, Fabio Schneider managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Austria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Schneider was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mihăiţă Mailat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Austria defense, Mihăiţă Mailat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Auer. The Austria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Auer should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute Fabio Schneider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Luncașu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute Lucrețiu Agulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Auer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Marvin Harrer was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. After 69 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Marvin Harrer. After 70 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Schneider. Leonhard Maier's late challenge caught a Venezia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonhard Maier helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonhard Maier to maneuver through the defense. Mihăiţă Mailat struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Fabio Auer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezia FC. Lucrețiu Agulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valer Bornescu in the 86th minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Venezia FC were the better team. Venezia FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
