Tommy Kahn was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Davy Chatry. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sofiane Fleurant in the 25th minute of play. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. In the 28th minute, Julien Guy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Steven Grenard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Steven Grenard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Germany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Sachs in the 44th minute.

Steven Grenard was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Albin Holweck capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Albin Holweck really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven Krakouer hit a great ball. In the 76th minute Sofiane Fleurant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steven Grenard made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. After 80 minutes of play Lambres's Cyril Toulalan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Lambres getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Cyril Toulalan hit a great ball. Steven Grenard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, Lambres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Pontoizeau to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
