After taking down the ball on Ranelagh F.C.'s corner Örjan Tingelholm fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felix Eneko was slow to take the kick. During this time Ranelagh F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice moves Armando Aznar could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Arnout Reekers however easily saved by the left post. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Aznar in the 31st minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Ranelagh F.C.'s Eusebio Mattin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Pimentel in the 63rd minute of play. Manuel Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. After 67 minutes, Timoteo Mincho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ranelagh F.C. and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ranelagh F.C.'s Timoteo Mincho got a free kick in the 67th minute. Ranelagh F.C. made a substitution. Vladimiro Ireno replaced Amador Vigil. Edgardo Guifre hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Francisco Behe made a huge save. Cirilo Geofredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Netherlands eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
