Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off and thus started the match. Paulo Oliverios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Wim Wilmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Fabio Gelmiro hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Oliverios. Paulo Oliverios dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monsalvo's Paulo Oliverios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Eikelkamp in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Oliverios was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Oliverios didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Paulo Oliverios came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Wim Wilmes. But to his dismay, Wim Wilmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After a rather tough play, Monsalvo's Froilan Berriotxoa got a free kick in the 39th minute. Monsalvo's Paulo Oliverios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Eikelkamp in the 43rd minute of play. Romulo Tabby kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some careless play in the Monsalvo defense, Wim Wilmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Oliverios. The Monsalvo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Oliverios should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Froilan Berriotxoa to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Monsalvo's Romulo Tabby got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paulo Oliverios. That made the score 0-10 in the 53 minute of play. Monsalvo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Wim Wilmes scored to the left of an out of position Paulo Oliverios, making the score, 0-11. In the 59th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Oliverios. Monsalvo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wim Wilmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Oliverios was a little too slow when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-15. Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Oliverios. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. After 76 played minutes Monsalvo got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Onofre. Paulo Oliverios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wim Wilmes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Oliverios having to make a save. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Gustaaf Groeneveldt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 91 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt lined in a short shot 0-17 behind a frustrated Paulo Oliverios. Paulo Oliverios made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Monsalvo's Romulo Tabby got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Romulo Tabby off the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 96th minute of play forced Monsalvo's goalkeeper Paulo Oliverios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Monsalvo throughout the match.
