Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernan Fernanco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Expreso del oeste's Hernan Fernanco. Hernan Fernanco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 14th minute, Siebe Michiels made a precise shot to the right of Hernan Fernanco. Expreso del oeste's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Hernan Fernanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Casper Claes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Lartaun in the 27th minute of play. Hernan Fernanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The corner led to Belgium's Yves Dervaux getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Expreso del oeste's goalkeeper Hernan Fernanco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute Belgium were awarded a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten to fire away a dangerous shot which Hernan Fernanco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernan Fernanco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Expreso del oeste's Hernan Fernanco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Expreso del oeste from getting a goal against them. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hernan Fernanco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Edward Vanderstraeten got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lino Ignatius was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Gaby Diares notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Belgium's Casper Claes. Casper Claes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hernan Fernanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Siebe Michiels could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Hernan Fernanco however easily saved by the left post. When Marco Anda fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Expreso del oeste's protests and gave Marco Anda a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Expreso del oeste getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Marco Anda hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernan Fernanco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Belgium were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Expreso del oeste's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Vanderstraeten took the corner. The corner led Belgium's Yves Dervaux to a score. 2-6 in the 89th minute. Hernan Fernanco came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-7. When the match was over Belgium could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Expreso del oeste throughout the match.
