Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dorjan Budal started the match with the kick off. After 6 minutes, Dorjan Budal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bayer Leverkusen and the Switzerland players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Dorjan Budal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jacinto Maurer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 10 in the game by Naim Stanišič from a close distance when the talented Hias Nüssli managed to make a qualified save. Switzerland's players were relieved. Hias Nüssli made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Dorjan Budal sent off a good shot on target. Brendon Čepar hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Naim Stanišič's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hias Nüssli firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 40th minute, Rašid Uršič fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 43 minutes into the game, Bayer Leverkusen's Dorjan Budal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hias Nüssli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuele Kunz was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Naim Stanišič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Maurer charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Maurer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th match minute, Switzerland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Maurer to maneuver through the defense. Hias Nüssli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naim Stanišič in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Dorjan Budal made a precise shot to the right of Hias Nüssli. Switzerland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 61 minutes, Lazar Topolovec mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bayer Leverkusen and the Switzerland players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lazar Topolovec hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Jacinto Maurer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 67 minutes of play, Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sreta Gorše was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd match minute, Switzerland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timo Siegmund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naim Stanišič in the 80th minute of play forced Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuele Kunz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sreta Gorše made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Samuele Kunz sent off a good shot on target. After 86 played minutes Switzerland got a freekick which was hit by Samuele Kunz. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorjan Budal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Maurer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Sreta Gorše tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bayer Leverkusen had won after a very even match.
