Fernandinho Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Peletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FK Novi Pazar booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manojlo Medenica in the 60th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fernandinho Moura but with some difficulty. France's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
