The ball had pretty good speed, but Fodor Daniel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hegedus Henrik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Alejandro Seisdedos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. José Alejandro Seisdedos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 9th minute of the match. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. José Alejandro Seisdedos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hegedus Henrik hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Club Deportes La Serena's Ermegildo Fazzini in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. In the 25th minute Club Deportes La Serena were awarded a corner. Tobías Rocuant went to the cornerflag to take it. José Alejandro Seisdedos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 28th minute of play. Baptiste Després scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rdth minute of the game Ermegildo Fazzini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Soso Cheishvili. Fodor Daniel was a little too slow when Soso Cheishvili got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-1. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Alejandro Seisdedos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Deportes La Serena's Juan Luis Illescas got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Fazzini in the 50th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 2-2 became the score in the 72nd minute when Antal Valentin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Fazzini, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Alejandro Seisdedos having to interfere. Club Deportes La Serena's Edgardo Garzo was substituted for Soso Cheishvili. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hungary fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Hungary:s Fodor Daniel showed great skill when he stopped Bonifacio Cristofor:s penalty. Ermegildo Fazzini hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. A collision led to Club Deportes La Serena getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ermegildo Fazzini hit a great ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
