Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edward Vanderstraeten kicked off to start the match. With an all-out effort, FC Temeswar Banat's Casper Claes threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adrian Neubauer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nigel Devos kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Adrian Neubauer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casper Claes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Adrian Neubauer put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Casper Claes. 29 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Neubauer came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute Agapito Diaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Neubauer had several of the Belgium's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Casper Claes as he didn't even see the shot coming. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Neubauer in the 40th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrian Neubauer was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Trendafil Dzhendov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Temeswar Banat's goalkeeper Aimé Holtmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Nigel Devos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aimé Holtmann made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. Aimé Holtmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, one of FC Temeswar Banat:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aimé Holtmann had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Edward Vanderstraeten's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the FC Temeswar Banat defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aimé Holtmann. The FC Temeswar Banat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aimé Holtmann should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in FC Temeswar Banat's zone, Yves Dervaux stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aimé Holtmann came out of the goal and Yves Dervaux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aimé Holtmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 79th minute of play forced FC Temeswar Banat's goalkeeper Aimé Holtmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trendafil Dzhendov in the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to FC Temeswar Banat getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Manfred Rinke hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Temeswar Banat's zone, Edward Vanderstraeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aimé Holtmann came out of the goal and Edward Vanderstraeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute of the game Jan Hoffmann made a throw-in which Agapito Diaz played forward. In the 90th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sander Dermaut to maneuver through the defense. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agapito Diaz in the 92nd minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Agapito Diaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aimé Holtmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Siebe Michiels in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute Belgium were awarded a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Belgium's corner Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aimé Holtmann quite easily take care of the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
