Elano Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Black-White MH's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felipe Barreto was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Black-White MH's goalie and right to Faustino Almeida. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Black-White MH's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Cengiz Zorbey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Cengiz Zorbey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lv Zhou scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 24 minutes of play, Portugal's Felipe Barreto made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elano Prestes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabricio Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elano Prestes having to make a save. In the 27th minute, Felipe Barreto made a precise shot to the right of Elano Prestes. Black-White MH's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Lv Zhou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Chad Kaplan came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cengiz Zorbey in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Lv Zhou reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilson Amorim. The goal made the score 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Cengiz Zorbey kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilson Amorim. That made the score 4-2 in the 41 minute of play. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Lv Zhou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

In the 68thth minute of the game Fan Yang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fan Yang in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. Portugal made a substitution. Black-White MH were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Portugal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roland Soroka took the corner. After taking down the ball on Black-White MH's corner Roland Soroka fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wilson Amorim quite easily take care of the ball. The Black-White MH fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
