Eloy Casagrande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Martins in the 78th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Luix in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Luix came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by São Miguel do Oeste.SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eloy Casagrande quite easily take care of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, São Miguel do Oeste.SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Eloy Casagrande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands played a much better game than São Miguel do Oeste.SC and deserved their victory. The São Miguel do Oeste.SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
