Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Finidi George made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Finidi George tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denmark's attentive Theis Winther managed to snatch the ball when Ted Heijer made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. In the 14th minute of the game Freek Wolf made a throw-in which Arno Dorner played forward. 20 minutes into the match, Caseys Dreamteam 2's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Cláudio Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cláudio Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, Finidi George ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With an all-out effort, Caseys Dreamteam 2's Keld Paulsen threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Finidi George, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rudi de Zwart kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The throw-in from Ted Heijer in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Mikkel Wulff. Cláudio Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikkel Wulff, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. If Claude Helssen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. Denmark's Theis Winther managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Freek Wolf in the 55 minute of the game. The supporters of Denmark booed when Caseys Dreamteam 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralph Barels didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Claude Helssen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Caseys Dreamteam 2's goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but Cláudio Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Finidi George managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caseys Dreamteam 2's supporters rose to their feet, but Finidi George was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cláudio Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 76 minutes into the game, Finidi George cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Keld Paulsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rolf Zuidema hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Cláudio Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 80th minute of the match. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Caseys Dreamteam 2's Arno Dorner. But to his dismay, Arno Dorner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Rolf Zuidema's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolf Zuidema helped the player get up and apologised. Many of Denmark's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Denmark may have spent more time on the ball, but Caseys Dreamteam 2 were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
