With 10 minutes on the clock, Damir Pongrac commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Croatia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bresser III Futebol Clube:s goal. Croatia:s Ilija Skugor showed great skill when he stopped Wilton Barreto:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Croatia's Patrik Terzic got a free kick in the 15th minute. Croatia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Wilton Barreto scored to the left of an out of position Ilija Skugor, making the score, 2-0. Rafael Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ilija Skugor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Croatia getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Teo Gudelj hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Wiliam Gomes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wiliam Gomes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raí Cardoso during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Toni Mauzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bresser III Futebol Clube's zone, Dinko Stankovic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabinho Monteiro came out of the goal and Dinko Stankovic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Bresser III Futebol Clube's Claudinho Neves got a free kick in the 35th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Bosak made a kick off. The supporters of Croatia booed when Bresser III Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléberson Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toni Mauzer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabinho Monteiro. Bresser III Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Wiliam Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ilija Skugor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Croatia's zone, Almir Catarinense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilija Skugor came out of the goal and Almir Catarinense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Dinko Stankovic came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Croatia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinko Stankovic couldn't finish the play. Ilija Skugor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raí Cardoso in the 64th minute of the match. With a little luck, Bresser III Futebol Clube's Fabinho Monteiro got control of the ball when Dinko Stankovic tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bresser III Futebol Clube's Almir Catarinense got a free kick in the 67th minute. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toni Mauzer succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-3 in the 76th playminute. Rafael Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilija Skugor having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Croatia got a freekick which was hit by Dinko Stankovic. Despite being the better team, Bresser III Futebol Clube failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
