Sergio Romero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sergio Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szymon Wachna in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Szymon Wachna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kanalla F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a rather tough play, Kanalla F.C's Guaberto Boniel got a free kick in the 29th minute. Sergio Romero came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kanalla F.C's Szymon Wachna. But to his dismay, Szymon Wachna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 高洲泉 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Joachim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Szymon Wachna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kanalla F.C's Szymon Wachna got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Marcelinho Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Szymon Wachna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kanalla F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Szymon Wachna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The The Waldos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kanalla F.C were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Regis was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of The Waldos booed when Kanalla F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Quintyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, The Waldos's Claudio Navarro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Claudio Navarro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of The Waldos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Claudio Navarro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in The Waldos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! Kanalla F.C's Romulo Lluis was substituted for Szymon Wachna. After 65 minutes The Waldos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcelinho Carioca who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Kanalla F.C's Mieszko Trac to fire away a dangerous shot which Sergio Romero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Waldos's goalkeeper Sergio Romero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 76 minutes of play, Kanalla F.C's Romulo Lluis made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
