When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Vencel Pápai put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Asmund Sjøberg. Vencel Pápai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asmund Sjøberg having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, The Nerd Herd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Christian Taksdal to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Nagyváradi AC defense, Brage Vetrhus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jos Van Hinnendael. The Nagyváradi AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jos Van Hinnendael should have stopped the shot. Jeppe Løvli hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, The Nerd Herd's goal looked a bit too open when Jedrzej Kasprzak came free, but Asmund Sjøberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bård Kjærvik kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Vencel Pápai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asmund Sjøberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Odin Fjeldberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 76 minutes, Jeppe Løvli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Nerd Herd and the Nagyváradi AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Nagyváradi AC booed when The Nerd Herd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeppe Løvli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asmund Sjøberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vencel Pápai, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Alfred Kofoed kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Nagyváradi AC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result.
