The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Amado Salazar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Sendoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After 9 minutes A. Korn's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adalberto Marquez who took care of the corner kick. Juan Sendoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Salazar in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Ramon Diaz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jorge Caetano. Ramon Diaz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 19th minute, Amado Salazar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viseu United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, A. Korn's Orlando Demario got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Juan Sendoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Salazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramon Diaz was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Amado Salazar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A. Korn's Juan Sendoa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 54 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Viseu United's Amado Salazar fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 56th match minute, A. Korn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Almedia to maneuver through the defense. Amado Salazar came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Juan Sendoa could save by the left post. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by A. Korn's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adalberto Marquez was slow to take the kick. During this time Viseu United's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Hamílton Linhares heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a defensive mix-up in A. Korn's zone, Amado Salazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Sendoa came out of the goal and Amado Salazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ziemowit Gdowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Sendoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. When Viseu United's Ziemowit Gdowski in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A. Korn's goalie prevented a goal. If Ziemowit Gdowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes Viseu United got a freekick which was hit by Hamílton Linhares. 76 minutes into the match, Viseu United's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Urki came free, but Jorge Caetano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Caetano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Urki in the 77th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ziemowit Gdowski got free with Juan Sendoa in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 79 played minutes Ziemowit Gdowski rounded A. Korn's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in A. Korn's zone, David Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Sendoa came out of the goal and David Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Ziemowit Gdowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute Cirilo Urki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Caetano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamílton Linhares hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
