Cleto Papo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz Esteves in the 12th minute of play. After 17 played minutes StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Tiadoro. After 21 minutes of play, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Jaime Luken made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hélio Furtado was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Garikoitz in the 29th minute of play forced Joinville Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Hélio Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Bebeto Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Joinville Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Gimenez came free, but Hélio Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélio Furtado didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 35th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. After 38 played minutes StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Ekhi. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Cleto Papo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bebeto Leal in the 40th minute of play. Hélio Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Peio in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Augusto Atarratze made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Joinville Esporte Clube defense, Augusto Atarratze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélio Furtado. The Joinville Esporte Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélio Furtado should have stopped the shot. After 56 minutes, Fellipe Seco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Joinville Esporte Clube and the StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Joinville Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fellipe Seco to maneuver through the defense. If Lucio Peio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 60th minute, Guilherme Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 played minutes Joinville Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Seco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bebeto Leal in the 65th minute of play forced StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's goalkeeper Cleto Papo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Lucio Peio notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Joinville Esporte Clube's Hélio Furtado. Hélio Furtado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cleto Papo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fellipe Seco in the 75th minute. Joinville Esporte Clube's Hélio Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Peio in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Jaime Luken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hélio Furtado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Silvestre Gimenez kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Domingo Garikoitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Joinville Esporte Clube the free kick. After 85 played minutes StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Garikoitz. In the 95th minute, Joinville Esporte Clube's Fausto de Salles seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fausto de Salles the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Joinville Esporte Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fausto de Salles had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 96th minute, Fausto de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Joinville Esporte Clube's zone, Jaime Luken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélio Furtado came out of the goal and Jaime Luken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 were the better team. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
