Leonardo Teixeira started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Pascoal Antas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Fura Balizas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Leonardo Teixeira hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Pascoal Antas came free, but Virgílio Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Fura Balizas's Pascoal Antas got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Virgílio Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascoal Antas in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Virgílio Miranda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascoal Antas. Pascoal Antas kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. FC Fura Balizas's Zeferino Corte-Real quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Amadeu Munhoz, made in the 29th minute of the game. In the 37th minute, Luís Eduardo Prado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evandro Bastos during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Compostela FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Bastos to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes FC Fura Balizas got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Galvão. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Compostela FSCMZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Fura Balizas:s goal. Pascoal Antas walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascoal Antas in the 55th minute of play forced Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Virgílio Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgílio Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascoal Antas in the 59th minute of the match. The throw-in from Yuri Wesley in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Fura Balizas's André Palmeira. Virgílio Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascoal Antas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgílio Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascoal Antas in the 70th minute of the match. Aquilino Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Virgílio Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascoal Antas in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Leonardo Teixeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Lúcio Dantas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Compostela FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Fura Balizas the free kick. After a rather tough play, Compostela FSCMZ's Lúcio Dantas got a free kick in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Pascoal Antas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgílio Miranda. Compostela FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascoal Antas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Yuri Wesley's late challenge caught a FC Fura Balizas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yuri Wesley helped the player get up and apologised. Virgílio Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tol Adas in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Tol Adas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgílio Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Tol Adas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgílio Miranda was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Virgílio Miranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tol Adas's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. FC Fura Balizas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by André Palmeira in the 99th minute. Edgar Neiva made a great header on FC Fura Balizas's corner, it was just that Compostela FSCMZ's Virgílio Miranda managed to reach the ball for a save. FC Fura Balizas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
