An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Atarratze in the 4th minute of play forced Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Virgílio Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Compostela FSCMZ's Luís Eduardo Prado seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luís Eduardo Prado the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Compostela FSCMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luís Eduardo Prado had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Compostela FSCMZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Fura Balizas:s goal. Virgílio Miranda had in the 19thth minute some difficulties stopping Pascoal Antas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascoal Antas in the 22nd minute of play forced Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Virgílio Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, André Toledo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Fura Balizas's Kai Schirmer. Kai Schirmer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 28 played minutes Compostela FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Bastos. After 47 played minutes FC Fura Balizas got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Neiva. Compostela FSCMZ's Deivid Ferraz was substituted for Ulisses Senna. Edgar Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match.

With his leg Virgílio Miranda managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when FC Fura Balizas's Pascoal Antas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 56 minutes into the game, Pascoal Antas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Virgílio Miranda. Pascoal Antas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. 61 minutes into the game, Amadeu Munhoz threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Fura Balizas's Angélico Cavaco quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Pascoal Antas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Virgílio Miranda came out and tried to block the shot, but Pascoal Antas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 63rd minute. Virgílio Miranda was a little too slow when Pascoal Antas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 1-5. Pascoal Antas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Virgílio Miranda made a huge save. Kai Schirmer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lúcio Dantas's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Deivid Ferraz made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Fura Balizas's Angélico Cavaco. FC Fura Balizas made a substitution. Nuno Oliveira replaced Ricardo Atarratze. FC Fura Balizas made a substitution. Tol Adas replaced Pascoal Antas. 91 minutes in the game Zé Roberto Galvão did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alfredo Mandrak. In the 93rd match minute, Compostela FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Roberto Galvão to maneuver through the defense. Tol Adas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Nuno Oliveira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Compostela FSCMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Fura Balizas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
